100 for future
As part of the Project "100 for the Future” implemented by the Roma Inclusion Office under the Programme "Inclusion of Roma and Other Marginalized Groups in Serbia" , a seminar was held for the empowerment of Roma women from 4th to 6th March 2022. The seminar featured 20 women from the Roma community, some of whom are already experienced activists, and some who had met with such training for the first time.

Implementation Agreement for "Inclusion of Roma and Other Marginalized Groups in Serbia" was signed
On Saturday, February 5th, 2022. in Vrdnik, an introductory seminar of the project "100 for the Future" was held and launched at the initiative of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue. The project aims to empower 100 Roma women from 30 municipalities in Serbia into becoming active citizens who participate equally in creating policies that affects them, whilst promoting the protection of youth rights, women, gender equality and equality in their local communities.

New group of participants successfully completed training for security guards in Pirot
On Friday 24th December 2021. under the Programme "Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia", the completion of the second training for workers of the security of buildings, property, persons and public events was inaugurated, and attended by unemployed Roma men and women and other unemployed persons who needed additional support to join the labour market.

In Belgrade, in December 2021, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the German Development Cooperation Programme "Inclusion of Roma and Other Marginalized Groups in Serbia" and the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs.

The grand opening of the beauty salon from our beneficiaries was held
The Office for Roma Inclusion of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Association of Roma Students organized the grand opening of the "Wonderland" beauty salon owned by three Roma women, beneficiaries of various support programs aimed at employing Roma men and women in Serbia. The event was held in their newly opened salon at Cara Dušana 19, in Novi Sad, on 17th December 2021.

IMPROVED EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS FROM HARDLY EMPLOYABLE GROUPS IN NINE CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES IN SERBIA
"During the two years of the Phase II Inclusion Initiative, 9 cities and municipalities in Serbia supported the employment of over 300 people and provided over 1,100 services in the field of sustainable inclusion and employment measures based on national and local strategic documents for over 700 beneficiaries. of which 50% are women, "said today at an online conference on the occasion of the completion of this phase of the Programme for Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia, Aleksandra Dimić-Ugrinaj, leader of the programme implemented by GIZ within the German Development Cooperation.

Serbian-German Platform for Experiences Exchange on the Labour Market Inclusion of Marginalized Groups
Belgrade, 10.09.2021 – Within the program of the German Development Cooperation „Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia, implemented by GIZ, a virtual study visit was organized with the goal to create a platform for exchange and joint learning between the Serbian and German stakeholders dealing with the inclusion of marginalized groups at the labour market. The virtual exchange lasted for six days and included more than 100 representatives of state authorities and the civil sector.

Getting a job in Belgrade is easier with the support of GIZ and the Divac Foundation
Belgrade, 08.09.2021 - Partners in the project "Employment promotion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Belgrade" presented the results of the implementation of measures to support the employment of Roma and other marginalized and hard-to-employ groups in Belgrade. The project is part of the programme of German development cooperation "Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia" implemented by the German organization for international cooperation GIZ in cooperation with the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights.

VACCINATION CAMPAIGN IN THE LANGUAGES OF NATIONAL MANORITIES
The Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue, in cooperation with the National Councils of National Minorities and with the support of the German Organization for International Cooperation GIZ, presented the beginning of a socially responsible campaign for immunization against COVID-19 virus in the Palace "Serbia". The additional value of this campaign is that the messages were also sent in the languages of national minorities living in the Republic of Serbia.
