LEONI, NIŠ – SKILLS TRAINING FOR OPERATORS IN CABLE MANUFACTURINGRead more
Project Inclusion of Roma and other marginalised groups in Serbia provides support to Roma, returnees from the European Union countries and other hard-to-employ groups (long-term unemployed persons, persons with no/low qualifications, etc.) in the form of skills training for easier and facilitated employment.
The Project organises and implements two types of trainings:
- training for a known employer, and
- training for the labour market.
Training for known employers is organised in cooperation with employers across Serbia who need employees who are hard to source in the labour market. The training is tailor-made to employer’s needs, and participants attending the training receive the opportunity to get a job with that employer, after they complete the training.
Training for the labour market involves skills training courses for occupations that are most sought after in the labour market that allow participants to find a job quicker and easier, such as training for welders and construction machinery operators and others. All training courses organised under the project are certified and delivered in cooperation with competent Institutes and Adult Education Centres.
Skills training is free for all participants.
